TX/Phoenix's story
Are you are looking for one athletic girl?  One who can jump and catch the ball or frisbees? My name is Phoenix and I can fly in the air to catch those balls and frisbees.  I am a 3 yrs old 45-pound orange/white darling spayed Brittany Mix female.  HW Neg, UTD on all vaccines and on HW Prevention.  I am healthy, housebroken and crate trained.
If you would like to rub my belly, throw the ball and get kisses by one special girl, please think about me to complete your loving family.  I know you will be as happy as I am.
From Foster Mom:  This is one smart, cute, and affectionate dog.  Oh, and she is quite the athlete on top of all of that.  If you have a good throwing arm and a nice tennis ball, this dog is a true artist.  She can catch ground balls as well execute flying leaps to take down air balls.   In all honesty, if there is anybody out there interested in dog sports like agility, dock diving, flyball or even herding sports, I think this dog has incredible potential.  She is perfectly controllable walking on a leash, but I believe she could even refine that skill.  She sleeps well in a crate but would probably do just as well sleeping uncrated.   She has shown no destructive habits in terms of chewing and has shown no interest in getting out of the yard.  She is not interested in getting on the furniture but did like to join me on the chaise lounge outside.  She has beautiful table manners and shows no sign of any food aggression.  She will give great ear licks and likes to have her stomach rubbed.  After a hard day of play, she is perfectly content to lay on the floor in the evening.  She has been around small children and was very gentle.  She would gently lick the children and wait patiently for then to throw the ball for her.  She gets along with our other dog and would probably ignore both the cats if one in particular did not keep taunting her. We think it would be best to have no cats, even thou she shows no sign of being vicious toward our cats.  She does want to chase them at eye level.  The only time we have heard her bark is during a stare down started by the one cat.  And like most bird dogs, she will walk right past that bird to go chase the squirrel.
