1941 Ford Super Deluxe Woodie Woody Wagon Recently Restored.
Up for your consideration is a beautiful example of American nostalgia in this recently restored 1941 Ford Super Deluxe Woodie Wagon.
The wood signified it was a working car, a utility vehicle for servants (although perhaps used for the occasional picnic or hunt) or as a livery for a country inn or yacht club.
The Super Deluxe model is powered by a Model 59AB 85 bhp, 221 ci flathead V8 engine equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission, 2-speed Columbia rear end, solid front axle and live rear axle with transverse semi-elliptic leaf springs. This example was extensively restored in 1992, and again in 2015 which included a frame-off restoration, and still retains much of the original wood. Upgrades include front disc brakes, working original AM radio, new upholstery, new tires/wheels, converted to 12 volt system, 3rd row seat.
