My story
My name is Butterfly and I have had a very tough beginning to my life.  I was in a hoarding situation and had to have lots of litters.  There were over 50 in our mobile trailer and I never was allowed to go outside.  When DAWG rescued me and asked NBRAN to help me it was the best beginning of my new life.  I had so many scars, injuries and was so tattered. I feel so good now and think I look quite beautiful.  I need a very gentle hand and need a loving gentle family.  I do need another sweet brother or sister, so they can help me become part of the family.  I need a family that will take the time and have lots of love, gentleness and consistency for me.  I promise you, in the long run, you will not be disappointed.  I have so much love, kindness and kisses to give.  I am very gentle and not one ounce of any meanness.  Not one mean bone in my sweet adorable body.  I need a fence so I can run and play with my sibling. I am 4.5 yrs old liver/white with some orange (Tri) Brittany/Pointer mix spayed 35.5 lb. female.  Housebroken, crate trained and UTD on all vaccines.  On HW F/T Prevention. I was HW Positive and I am now testing Negative and ready for my forever home.  Please if you would like to make a difference to a beautiful girl in need, I would like to be her.  I would love to have my very own family to spoil me, love me and give me delicious cookies. From Foster Mom:  Butterfly is one of the kindest loving dogs I have ever had the pleasure to foster. She is however extremely fearful and shy caused by abuse and her total lack of socialization for the first few years of her life. That being said she is very easy to handle and never lashes out in fear aggression. I have 3 very young kids and 4 dogs of my own and she gets along great with everyone. She loved my dogs right away and loves to play and has amazing dog manners. After a month of us leaving her alone and not trying to touch, pet or love on her she first warmed up to my children. She would even seek them out to be petted and to be loved on. After about 2 months she has become very close to me and will follow me from room to room and sit by my feet as I work. She is great in her kennel and loves toys! She makes us laugh how she bounces like a bunny when we let her outside to play. And boy oh boy does this girl love food which is an awesome way to gain her trust. She loves walks and is a dream on a leash!  She does not get scared or panic on walks, she is fine with cars and noises of any kind. She will not panic and try to get away, if someone gets to close, she will just duck behind me. She also loves the dog park and now that she is comfortable with us, she loves having a wide-open space to play and her recall is awesome which makes everything easier. This sweet girl really deserves to be loved and cherished in her forever home. Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles.
